East Barnby Class 10 - Day Three

Heavy rain during the evening meant that our night activities were based indoors but were even more active.
We held the Class 10 Olympics where the teams took part in challenges of varying degrees of difficult, and silliness, scoring points and being given bonuses for displaying some of the skills we have been focusing on this week. While the teams engaged in the physical activity to perfection, they also demonstrated skill in an event that was a fixture in early Olympics -poetry. When they return, ask your child if they can remember it!
The class's organisation was such that we had a comparatively relaxed departure from the dorms this morning. On the website is a picture of the long march to the place where the cases will be stored while they are out on their morning activities. The mist is clearing and we can see the sun. Shelter building here we come.
We are looking forward to the return to school later.
